Leo Auri, researcher in AI/music, multi-instrumentalist, composer. Currently engaged as a PhD researcher with the Audio Communication group, TU Berlin, exploring the use of artificial neural network architectures as musical instruments. As a composer and theatre musician active in both free theatre scene (Lovefuckers, Platypus Theater) and state theatres (with Stefan Pucher, Deutsches Theater, Schauspiel Frankfurt, English Theatre Berlin, Puppentheater Halle). Studied Jazz Piano at Elder Conservatory, Australia. Continued experimentation with sound and performance, including: “Body/Voice/Bicycle” – improvisatory performance in “basement”, Vienna; “Das Haus als Maske” (“The house as a mask”) – a dialogical/musical composition in Kulturhaus-Schöneberg. Lead singer and songwriter of Berlin-based indie band “Monster Mouse”.
